I am in the process of transitioning from my full-time job of 17 years into my Kingdom purpose—equipping God's people to build up the church. God has given me the gift of speaking, and I've been navigating this transition with so many questions, looking to the resources around me based on a secular approach to the speaking industry. I've encountered people who encouraged me to "tone down" the Christian message and make it more appealing to a general audience.
Then, through a divine connection, I was introduced to Elaine. We connected from our very first meeting. Elaine has been where I'm going and understands my desire to base my business on a strong Christian foundation. As I step out in faith toward what God is calling me to do, I am grateful for her prayers, guidance, and insight. In the short time we've known each other, we've already graduated from coach and client to friends.

When I knew God was calling me to transition my business from primarily coaching to writing and speaking, I realized this would require a different set of disciplines. I knew I could not do this on my own, and as a coach, I knew enough to know that I needed a coach. Someone who could lovingly hold my feet to the fire. Someone I trusted. Someone who knew the struggle and would guide me.
I love working with Elaine because she fits all of those needs for me, and it is so motivating to see progress in my decision-making, how I spend my time, and how I prioritize my business needs. It's so empowering to know that Elaine shares my dream and believes in me—so when I'm wavering, she can add the extra motivation and encouragement that I need.

Moments like this make me appreciate that God has not planned for us to walk out our journey in Him alone. As Ecclesiastes 4:12 (NLT) reminds us, "A triple-braided cord is not easily broken."
I am called to birth a divine-inspired vision that God has given me in the real estate industry and to help others do the same. When we see this God-sized dream, it's easy to look upon our insecurities and wonder, "How can something so wonderful be done through me?" This reminds me of Moses, who said, "O Lord, I'm not very good with words" (Exodus 4:10 NLT), yet God assured him, "I will be with you as you speak" (Exodus 4:12 NLT).
I'm so grateful for my sister in Christ and coach, who has been called for such a time as this to help birth women with God-sized dreams. She spent all day with me developing the backend of my organization—funnels, workflows, websites, and everything needed to run a business behind the scenes.
If we are willing to do the work God calls us to do, He will bring destiny helpers with the skills necessary for the job, just like with Nehemiah: "So we rebuilt the wall... for the people worked with all their heart" (Nehemiah 4:6 NLT).
I want to encourage those out there: you're not alone. The Holy Spirit is with you to guide you, and He's also sending destiny helpers like Elaine Lankford to help you along your journey. As Proverbs 27:17 (NLT) declares, "As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend."
I am grateful for the calling God has placed on her life and thoroughly pleased with her heart for serving God's people. She took so much burden and made it easy to help me move into the next phase of building.
If anyone needs someone to walk alongside them in building their dream, consider contacting Elaine Lankford with She Steps Forward Coaching. "Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed" (Ecclesiastes 4:9 NLT).
